Layered on top are precise aromas of cigar box and tobacco, dark fruits, and warm Christmas spices. The palate is generous and dense, with flavours of black cherry, black currant, crushed raspberry, red pepper jelly, mocha, and a charcoal-like minerality that runs through the wine. The finish is long, savoury, and lifted by a spectacular white pepper note. This wine will continue to improve for another 3+ years with proper cellaring.
