2021 Vineland Cabernet Franc

This is a very impressive entry level wine under $16 including tax. I’m so freaking impressed by what Brian Schmidt is capable of doing at this price point. This is a real “tour de force.” The nose of this wine is so appealing and super seductive with aromas of cherrywood, dark cherry, raspberry liqueur and a hint of red pepper jelly. The palate is soft and round, the tannins are well integrated but energetic and joyfull, while the red and dark berry flavours work very well all together. A drop of vanilla and chocolate milk on the mid-palate enhance the profile of this Rockstar crowd pleaser. This wine can easily be sold for $25 and no one would complain…this is a steal of a deal. Buy it by the case.
