2022 Chain Reaction “Pendulum” Pinot Noir

A solid Pinot Noir from Joel and his team at Chain Reaction. From the McMillan Vineyard on the Naramata Bench, where Pinot Noir is King, this wine shows freshness and concentration, with delicate floral expression. The nose is filled with violet, raspberry, plum, cloves and vanilla while the palate is soft and generous delivering a perfect reflection of the aromas. The 10 months in French barrels have softened the edges and brought depth to the mid-palate, while the tannins are soft from the very beginning. The mix of red and blue fruit flavours are pure and distinctive while the light oak spices enhance a somewhat “Oregonian style” finish. 300 cases made.
