2022 Vineland “Elevation” Riesling St. Urban Vineyard

This was one of our selection for our first edition of the Pan-Canadian Masterclass last year, and this is an absolute showstopper. Like Brian Schmidt mentioned to the crowd that night, 2022 vintage can go down in history as one of the best vintages ever for Riesling: and I believe him.  A classic Niagara semi-dry Riesling where sweetness meets acidity in perfect balance. Textural (OMG, the texture), sublime, round and soft, this Riesling is honeysuckle and orange blossoms wrapped in lemon...followed by a long, flinty finish. And an exceptional price point. If you like off-dry wines, this is an absolute gem to discover, where the sweetness perfectly matches the tartness and the acidity level, bringing a pure sense of harmony…a real winner!
