2023 Burnt Ship Bay Pinot Grigio

This is simple, approachable, clean, refreshing and affordable. An Italian-Niagara expression of Pinot Gris, this wine is straight forward, light to medium body, medium acidity and on-point in terms of flavour profile. It’s exactly what you would expect from a well-made Pinot Grigio, but at a unbeatable price. On the nose, soft aromas of peach, lemon and orange blossom surf out of the glass. On the palate, you’ll find the same pattern, a smooth sequence of orchard fruits combined with a spark of citrus, finishing with a hint of minerality. Very well made for $15.95.
