NV Ferox Chardonnay “Vintages”

This wine is a blend of 3 different vintages: 2016, 2017, 2019. The 2016 vintage was aged in new French oak, the 2017 vintage was fermented in used French oak, and the 2019 was done in stainless. The three vintages bring different aspects of each style of winemaking but also complements of each vintage. Good texture, nice oak profile, and being well rounded makes this approachable Chardonnay a great value proposition. On the nose, you’ll get aromas of apple pie, canned pear, lemon peel, chamomile and oak spices while the palate delivers exactly the same sequence with the addition of light white pepper on the finish. The excellent price-point is another enticing feature of this Chardonnay, as is the concept of multiple vintages all in the same bottle
