Join Carl & Mira, winemakers and members on a tour of the Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) wine region!

NOTL is where it all began...the birth place of Canada's commercial wine industry and continued home to iconic wineries and delicious wines.

Includes tastings with winemakers and visits to four specially selected wineries in the NOTL area, plus a three course lunch and snacks.

These are not your usual wine tastings...

We'll go full Carl's Wine Club style with behind the scenes tours and experiences.

Each stop will have a different focus.

Stop #1: Stratus Vineyards

Taste the difference between amphora aging versus barrel aging and other vessels for multiple varietals, side by side. We'll also tour the impressive gravity-flow winemaking facility that was the first LEED certified winery in the world when originally built.

Stop #2: Ferox

Explore food and wine pairings with a three course Italian-inspired lunch prepared by chef Adriano Cappuzzello, with behind the scenes stories and perhaps some special wines ;)

Stop #3: Big Head Winery

The focus of this visit is blind tasting - and barrel samples! We'll be with winemaker and co-owner Jakub Lipinsky to taste wines, both current releases and barrel samples, and also get a tour of their new facility.

Stop #4: Bella Terra Vineyards

Dive into the art of blending wines! What better way to do this than by making your own white blend!? Bella Terra made our first-ever Carl's Wine Club Member's Red, and this winery was also was voted Carl's Wine Club 'Winery of the Year' in 2022! Let's see which one of us can make the most enjoyable blend ;) and finish the day off with one last wine tasting, cheese & charcuterie. 

Includes all tasting fees, three course restaurant lunch and snacks. Carpooling can be arranged. We can also arrange to ship any wines you purchase, if useful.
