2022 Chain Reaction “Blanc de Noir”

Made from two different clones of Pinot Noir (777 and 667) from a single vineyard on the Naramata Bench, this expressive and intriguing white Pinot Noir delivers great texture and solid flavour definition. On the nose, the primary aromas are leaning towards pineapple, peach, vanilla and lilac while the plate is pure, clean with a creamy edge.  Notes of tropical fruits like pineapple resurface on the palate and are complemented by peach and yellow apple before a hint of wild strawberry resurfaces in the shadows. An in all, a very intriguing and versatile wine with 25% of the juice aged for 3 months in new oak barrels, which adds dimension, especially in the mid palate and on the finish.
