This classic Riesling exudes notes of petrol and minerals and has a silky, rich texture. It is nicely balanced and has a beautiful long finish. The style is slightly off dry, offering mouth-watering notes of honeyed lime citrus, tangerine and peach. The mid-palate is rich and offers appropriate weight for a 13 year old Riesling but has also held on to an appropriate amount of acidity, which brings vibrancy and precision. The finish is extremely long and display a good amount of crunchy ginger, lingering spices and slight oxidation undertones, which is totally appropriate for a wine of this age. The flinty minerality is off-the-charts… a serious wine from a serious vintage, for an incredible price-point! (CWC, 02/2022).
