2018 River Stone "Stones Throw"

The Stones Throw is a 100% home grown Bordeaux style blend from the River Stone estate in Oliver, BC. This wine showcases the rocky terroir of the winery beautifully, with a laser focused, linear Bordeaux-esque style. The 14 months in French oak is present but not the driver of this wine. A nose of raspberry, currants, and licorice enhance the start of your experience leading to flavours of savoury herbs, dark fruits and dark cocoa. The spice is definitely the centerpiece of this wine. Decanting recommended for maximum enjoyment. (CWC, 02/12/22).
