Like many wines from the 2019 vintage, this single vineyard Cabernet Franc shows a high level of elegance and complexity, taking over the richness and power seen in other vintages. The nose opens up with floral aromas followed by red currant, red cherry and raspberry. The palate brings some very classic Cab Franc flavours like red pepper jelly, dark cherry, ripe raspberry, preserved cranberry and dark chocolate. The mid palate is fresh, bright and displays a spectacular acidity which lifts the whole tasting experience up to the next level. The finish offers great minerality like graphite and crushed gravel before hitting some spicy tones like white pepper and clove.
