Rich and smooth, but balanced and fresh, this medium+ body Merlot perfectly profiles the star power and potential of this grape varietal in the Okanagan, especially from the Naramata Bench and the Penticton area. The nose is very expressive with aromas of dark cherry, blue plum, black olives, licorice, dark chocolate and freshly chopped herbs. On the palate, the flavours offer sweet blue fruits like blueberry, plum and cassis, well supported by a fresh acidity which helps lift the mid palate and the earthy and herbaceous components.
