2020 Vineland “Bo-teek Vineyard” Clone 327 Cabernet Franc

Wow. This single clone, single varietal Cabernet Franc 327 just makes you feel like you're transported inside the grape. Remember, this is the 2020 vintage, a big and bold representation of the Twenty Mile Bench. The structure is outstanding but already soft and approachable. The nose is filled with blue and dark fruits like blue plum, wild raspberry, black cherry with a hint of cinnamon and oak spices. The palate is lush and expands from leather to fruits pretty quickly, all the way to soft oak and spices. Flavours of black forest cake, with whipped cream and chocolate represent the palate in a nutshell, with a very long spicy finish leaning toward a white pepper & lingering sensation. The tannins are well on their way to be integrated and melted into the wine. I love this one!
