This is a fun and fruity red blend of mostly Malbec, plus Syrah and Cab Sauv, and a splash of Petit Verdot and Cab Franc. There is a lot going on in this glass: a unique pour, delivering a great mouthfeel and most strikingly…a nice break on the price-point! Yes, at $25, this is absolutely worth it. On the nose, the Malbec and the Petit Verdot are tagging along for the expressive floral component, followed by black fruits and a hint of smoked and grilled meat, cedar box and pencil lead. On the palate, lots of the Malbec and the Syrah up front, boasting jammy blueberry and blackberry, black licorice, sweet pipe tobacco, vanilla, and spicy white pepper.
