An intriguing value wine that I believe is a new addition to the Southbrook portfolio. This white blend shows intensity and balance. Fresh and delicate, with no oak maturation, this is the perfect first wine of the night, highlighting bright acidity which will clean your palate and get you ready for more. The nose is expressive, with aromas of white flowers (from the Vidal grape), orchard fruits (from the Chardonnay) and loads of citrus (from the Riesling). The palate is clean and well structure, delivering exactly the expectation…and that is, “Freshness in a Glass.” Flavours of lime, yellow apple, gooseberry, starfruits, orange, peach, a hint of ginger and a touch of spice are dancing around delivering a fantastic value proposition for under $20 including tax.
