2024 Lunessence "Small Lot Series" Albarino | 90pts

This rare grape varietal absolutely shines under the Lunessence winemaking team. A very fruity approach with great weight on the mid-palate. This wine is more than a 'fruit salad' as might happen to Albarino - instead it offers depth and complexity and a fantastic Summer companion. 

Lemon curd, lemon meringue, peach, pear, floral notes, and even white spice at the end. There's so many great things happening when you sip. It's hit it's stride in the last month or so, and I expect it to shine for another 18 months or longer.

Sourced from the Columbia Valley in Washington State due to the deep freeze that wiped out most of the BC vintage (see more about that story here).
