Directly from the Corcelettes library, this wonderful Similkameen Pinot Noir puts ripe red fruit front and centre, layered with herbaceous notes, floral elements, and classic Similkameen minerality. In other words, there’s a lot of complexity here.

On the nose, aromas of stewed red fruit, blue plum, sage, rosemary, pot-pourri, mocha, and toasted barrel.. The palate offers a very satisfying texture, while still maintaining a solid level of acidity for a six-year-old, $35 Pinot Noir on release. Flavours of strawberry purée, plum, crushed raspberry, orange rind, fresh herbs, and cinnamon carry through. The finish is mineral-driven, the tannins are soft, and the oak is very well integrated. This wine is in its prime, absolutely shinning right NOW.
