The grapes for this wine were sourced at the warm southern tip of the Okanagan Valley in Osoyoos, which is an ideal spot for Cab Sauv. Fermented in concrete tanks, using wild yeast, this medium bodied wine offers silky and soft tannins, good structure and moderate acidity. On the nose, some pleasant and funky aromas of raspberry jam, red currant, dried herbs and earth undertones open the experience with intrigue. On the palate, juicy flavours of mixed red berries and blueberries provide that perfect juicy, fruit-forward profile with an expanded mid-palate, while some notes of earth, sweet spice, black pepper and creamy vanilla add intricacy and complexity. More red berries, choco-mint, smoky cedar and savoury notes of mushroom and herbs linger on the extra-dry finish to make this 100% Organic Cabernet Sauvignon very unique in its own way. $30 for a good Cab Sauv…YESSS please!
