Here we have the cream of the crop of Lightning Rock's portfolio from 'block C' of the prized CanyonView Vineyard. 2019 was a cooler vintage that has made some fantastic reds and especially Pinot Noirs across the Okanagan - and it truly shines from this special parcel in Summerland. Darker and deeper than the 2022 Pinots from Lightning Rock, this wine is built for the cellar and starting to show it's true potential now at six years of age (2025). Aromas of dark plum, stewed strawberries, red liqorice, toasted barrel, and floral perfume. The palate is velvety, layered and very complex, with an opening of raspberry, plum and red currant, crushed gravel, and leather. Truly Pinot Noir. (Carl Boucher, Aug 27, 2025). Only 150 cases made.
