This powerful Meritage blend exemplifies Noble Ridge’s bold house style, producing dense, age-worthy wines. Comprised of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Cabernet Franc, this wine was aged for 18 months in French oak, 46% of which was new.

The nose is captivating, with aromas of dark fruits, tree bark, fresh Mediterranean herbs, black liquorice, graphite, and cedar. On the palate, it is rich and dense, with youthful tannins and fresh acidity. As it matures, these elements will harmonize into a luscious texture.

Flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant, stewed plum, black orange tea, sweet tobacco leaves, mint, and juniper create a complex and lengthy profile. This wine has excellent aging potential and will benefit from a few more years of cellaring. (Carl Boucher, October 20, 2024)
