The River Stone flagship wine achieves a level of consistency every vintage, and is one the most awarded Okanagan Bordeaux red blends. The 2020 vintage offered ideal growing condition and Ted Kane delivers another GEM. On the nose, expressive aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, violets, fresh sage and pipe tobacco get your senses going. The palate is rich and complex, the tannins are present but not over the top, and the fruit profile is ripe and generous. Flavours of crème de cassis, black cherry, blueberry sauce, mocha and lots of layers on the finish with moderate spices like cardamom, cloves and white pepper.
