You get this: a round, fruity and surprisingly well balanced wine, perfect for BBQ season. 

I really appreciate this wine’s well managed alcohol and bright structure, especially since it came from the challenging ‘heat dome’ vintage in 2021.

Nose of cassis, blackberry and dark cherry, a hint of violet, red licorice and cedar box. You can expect a nice complexity from this crowd pleaser.

The palate expresses freshness, vivacity and nice tannic structure while the flavours offer dark fruit expression, a hint of blueberry, with a burst of expresso coffee just after the mid-palate, before finishing on seductive oak spice notes and white pepper.

Pairing ideas: grilled cheeseburgers, pork chops
