Winery Notes: This Pinot Grigio is a delightful and refreshing wine that perfectly complements summer days on the patio or gatherings with friends at the cottage. On the nose, it reveals notes of stone fruit characteristics, revealing aromas of white peaches, orange blossom, and lemongrass. On the palate, this Pinot Grigio showcases a bright acidity that enlivens the senses, layered with flavours of cantaloupe and peaches, offering a burst of juicy and fresh fruitiness. 89 points. This is simple, approachable, clean, refreshing and affordable. An Italian-Niagara expression of Pinot Gris, this wine is straight forward, light to medium body, medium acidity and on-point in terms of flavour profile. It’s exactly what you would expect from a well-made Pinot Grigio, but at a unbeatable price. On the nose, soft aromas of peach, lemon and orange blossom surf out of the glass. On the palate, you’ll find the same pattern, a smooth sequence of orchard fruits combined with a spark of citrus, finishing with a hint of minerality. Very well made for $15.95.
