Balanced, approachable, and incredibly well-priced, this blend—mostly Merlot—showcases impressive depth despite the challenges of the 2021 vintage. Wild cherry, black raspberry, tobacco, and graphite are some of the key aromas I found in this expressive showing. Grippy fine tannins are met with ample lifted acidity, resulting in a structural wine with great texture. This aspect truly led me to guess a much higher price point in a blind tasting. Flavours of cassis, black raspberry, dark chocolate, a hint of red pepper jelly, and a lengthy finish that lingers with iron-like minerality and oak spices. Powerful and finessed, with effortless intensity. (Carl Boucher, May 29, 2025) 650 cases made
