From one of the oldest blocks on the home vineyard, this single vineyard, single block wine is one of the most prized Gamays in Niagara. Aromas of crushed raspberry, red cherry, violets, leather smoked meat, nutmeg and a hint of sage. This sequence announces a pure and authentic wine. I swear, I could have called a Cru Morgon (Beaujolais) on a blind tasting.  The palate is soft with a rich texture and very well layered, sparked with a beautiful point of acidity.  The high-level complexity definitely backs up the old vines narrative here. The flavours perfectly reflect the aromas showing wonderful synergy accross the board. Earthy with fantastic fruits attributes, this well-rounded Gamay is an outstanding addition to the dinner table, offering tremendous versatility.
