Softer and more approachable than the newly released 2022, the 2021 vintage is finally hitting its stride. Both vintages are clearly cut from the same cloth, yet each displays its own distinct character. While this Chardonnay isn’t built for a decade-long marathon, it delivers immediate satisfaction and will continue to shine over the next two to three years. Sourced from the heart of the Beamsville Bench, the Moira Vineyard has become synonymous with high-quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir—and this iteration is no exception. On the nose, it shows expressive aromas of lemon curd, orange zest, white peach, flinty gravel, and caramel—clearly resonating with the hallmarks of a wild ferment. The palate is generous and well-rounded, offering flavours of lemon meringue, apricot, peach, yellow apple, and a touch of vanilla.
