While the 2020 and 2022 vintages of this wine share a similar style, the 2021 stands out as an outlier in the vertical. Bolder, richer, and more textural, it’s also more expressive—bringing forward a distinct herbaceous character not as present in the other two. The nose is layered with dried basil, thyme, and violet, complemented by notes of plum, blueberry, and black licorice. The palate is weightier and more textured than its predecessor, with nearly 1% more alcohol, yet it retains the signature line of graphite minerality that defines the mid-palate and beyond. Flavours of blue and black plum, crushed raspberry, brambleberry, and a dominant note of white pepper drive a powerful and lingering finish.
