From the cooler Vinemount Ridge sub-appellation, this stunning Chardonnay was barrel-fermented and aged for only 10 months in French oak to preserve terroir expression. The nose offers green fruit, almond, pink grapefruit, and a second wave of creamy peach and chamomile. The palate is tense and nervy, delivering Meyer lemon, golden apple, pear, and a burst of white spice. A saline line enhances the long, mouthwatering finish. Totally gold-medal worthy.
