Oh WOW!!! A modern and expressive style of Pinot Noir is on full display here. Fruits from the sought-after Lazy Dog Vineyards on the Penticton West Bench and the home vineyard on the Naramata Bench, this wine was aged for 18 months in French & Hungarian oak barrels delivering fruity and youthful expression of Pinot Noir. On the nose, aromas of fresh strawberries and black cherries, cedar box and milk chocolate, but also a slight earthy undertone to remind you that’s a Pinot Noir n your glass. The palate is full body with creamy round tannins and a sensational beautiful finish. Flavours of red cherry, raspberry jam, a hints orange peel, start a seamless sequence followed by a dried mushroom, violet and fresh herbs. The finish is ever evolving, offering clove, cardamom,  very drinkable and delicious now, but I have the feeling that this wine will evolve toward a earthier version in four to six year.
