As far as I'm concerned, it's rare to find BC Gamay especially at this quality. This one ranks right near the top of what I've tasted so far from BC. 

Sourced from a small vineyard in the newly appointed Summerland Lakefront sub-appellation, this foot-trodden Gamay was wild-fermented and spent 9 months in neutral oak. 

Classic aromas of violet and roses, but also raspberry, cherry, and Chinese five spice. The palate is soft and creamy, delivering flavours of crushed raspberries, maraschino cherries, blue plum, and highlighted by an outstanding and long spicy finish.
