The Painted Rock Syrah-Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the rarest wines in the entire portfolio, 76% Syrah, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, and it almost never sees the light of day with only 240 cases.

This wine is made exclusively for wine club members and rarely lands in the hands of critics. When it does, it delivers. Multiple 95-point scores across different outlets. On my side, this is my top-rated wine in this release: 95 points  and a strong candidate for our Top 10 Wines of the Year. And if you know, you know: Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon is one of my favorite combinations.

Bold and balanced. Rich, with a lifted acidity that keeps everything alive. This wine has everything you could ask for from a bold red blend out of the South Okanagan.

On the nose: graphite, mint, blue plum, dark cherry, black currant, and loads of tobacco. The palate is well built with tremendous depth and layers. Acidity is right where it needs to be, and the overall profile is pinpointed and almost perfect. Complexity that goes well above and beyond expectations.

Black cherry, blackberry, savouriness, and espresso coffee are all front and centre. The finish is spicy and oaky, lingering for a very long time. This one is very special. (Carl Boucher, May 13, 2026).
