Sourced primarily from their Garnet Valley vineyard, with a small addition from a fantastic grower in Summerland, this Chardonnay absolutely deserves a seat at the table with BC icons like Meyer Family, Blue Mountain, and Da Silva. One wild and wonderful thing about this wine? I pick up the exact same line of graphite-like minerality here as I do in all three of their Pinot Noirs. That, right there, is terroir defined. On the nose, expressive aromas of lemon curd, yellow apple, tangerine, vanilla, white flowers, almond cookie, and oak spice. I absolutely love the focus of this wine—the balance between alcohol, mid-palate weight, oak integration, and acid is pinpoint perfect across the board. The palate echoes the nose, with a clear focus on citrus and yellow fruit, elevated by a stunning texture and a long, mineral-driven finish.
