This wine stands out from the rest of the Closson Chase Pinots stylistically. The vineyard is off-site from the home estate, and definitely delivers a different profile: more Old World oriented with more herbacious and floral notes. But - same classic natural PEC acidity and stoney finish. The palate has a rich mid-palate and flavours of blackberry, stewed strawberry, crushed raspberry, milk chocolate, tobacco leaves and a hint of cedar. Only 152 cases made.
