This is a fascinating wine, the result of a unique collaboration between Mythology Vineyard (Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley) and Alderlea Vineyard (Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island). Crafted from two vineyards perched above the Salish Sea on Vancouver Island’s shore, this blend of Pinot Blanc and Siegerrebe is both soft and refreshing, with stellar tartness and a long, pulsing finish. On the nose, it opens with expressive aromas of apricot, gooseberry, orange blossom, lemon zest, freshly cut grass, and a subtle hint of ocean tide. The palate is equally inviting—rounded and silky, yet lively—with flavours of ripe orchard fruit, crisp yellow apple, peach pit, zesty lime peel, and green Granny Smith. There’s a ripe apricot sweetness that adds depth, beautifully balanced by bright, mouthwatering acidity. I love the originality of this wine—it's compelling, coastal, and a true pleasure to drink.
