This is very much reminiscent of a Tidal Bay blend - without official the Tidal Bay appellation. A burst of citrus, with lime, lemon and grapefruit, and just a slight touch of residual sugar to make it more approachable. The nose has citrus but also a floral component, and green apple. A vibrant palate, hinged with great acidity, and just a touch of sweetness to tame it. There's enough complexity here to make it serious. It's a masterful mix of local hybrids and vitis vinifera. The Riesling doesn't have a big percentage, but plays a critical role in the flavour profile. (Carl Boucher, October 1, 2025).
