The fruits for this exclusive pre-release come from the North and South blocks of the Trail estate vineyard. A lighter style for colour and body, but very typical Prince Edward County structure with a great frame of acidity and lengthy mineral finish.

 

This is a fine and delicate Pinot. Aromas include wild strawberry, red cherry, violet and rose petals. On the palate, flavours of red plum, cranberry, earthiness and savouriness. All in all, a very clean and ageable wine, and I look forward to the progression in the next 5-8 years. (Carl Boucher, August 12, 2026).
