While we have not tasted the 2017 and 2019, I have included tasting notes of the 2023 release below and info on the 2017 and 2019.

2023 Closson Chase Churchside Chardonnay 🔥93+pts | Exclusive Pre-Release!

While the Churchside Chardonnay has always been great, the 2023 is at another level with 93+ points, and it's still very early in the wine's life. Nose of citrus, hint of peach, florality, and a perceivable flinty aroma. The palate is very layered with style and oumfff from the barrel influence. Fruit profile is that classic lemon meringue, blood orange, and lemon curd. The tension and energy is spectacular in that wine, despite the 14% alcohol. A bright crisp acidity lifts it all up to mouthwatering goodness. (Carl Boucher, November 20, 2025).
