Gamay, when done well, can be spectacular. We weren't big fans until we encountered these Gamays. Wow! It's also fascinating to taste these alongside their Chardonnay or Pinot Noir counterparts from the same vineyards, for instance the Wismer-Foxcroft Gamay vs the Wismer-Foxcroft Chardonnays. You'll notice similarities - and that's when you know you're sensing the terroir at play!
