There’s only one wine with a bottle like this in the world!

Truly one of a kind, the Decant bottle was designed by Karim Rashid to reflect the layers and stratification of glacial soil within the 55-acre Stratus vineyard. The deconstructed shape also traps the lees as the wine is poured - thereby acting as a 'decanter.' It was honoured with a Good Design Award from the Chicago Anthenaeum, and comes in a slick white storage box.

A few select barrels of Cabernet Franc were left unfiltered and on their lees for this very special project. The wine shows great texture from the lees aging, bright acidity and “Old World” varietal characteristics. On the nose, aromas of red cherry, violet, leather, mint and tobacco are on full display. The palate is dense and concentrated, delivering tenacious flavours of dark fruits like black currant and black cherry, dried herbs, mocha coffee and chewy tobacco. The finish delivers a classic Cab Franc finish highlighted by white pepper, clove and other oak spices. What a unique bottle to serve, gift or collect! (Carl Boucher, October 28, 2024).
