Planted in 2003, the CanyonView Vineyard is a warm, south-facing site perfectly suited for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. From the great 2022 vintage, this Platinum-awarded wine has a very expressive and fruit-forward profile with precise flavours, concentration and balance. Wild fermented and aged for 10 months in neutral oak barrels, this young and vibrant wine offers aromas of bright red cherry, fresh strawberry, pomegranite, fresh picked violets, and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is also expressive, easy drinking, with flavours of bright red berries, red currant, milk chocolate, red liquorice, and a long, stoney finish that we recognize from other CanyonView Vineyard wines.
