2023 Bella Terra Fumé Blanc | 92pts

This bold and textural terroir Sauvignon Blanc aged for 22 months in neutral oak barrels. It features an expressive nose with aromas of pomelo, orange float, golden apple, pear and a subtle floral note that complements its sweet citrus nuances. The palate is round, full-bodied and deliciously appealing with its fruity notes of white peach, pear, lemon zest, white currants, and also a spark of melon, vanilla and a hint of apricot. The beautifully structured finish, which is the ultimate feature of this wine, offers a very complex and balanced expression of the varietal,  with a spectacular touch of chalky minerality, bringing complexity to this single vineyard wine. For a big vintage like 2020, there’s a remarkable freshness. This wine is hitting its prime window of drinkability at the moment and will continue to do so for the next 12 months.
