Rond, fruité et bien équilibré, cet assemblage de quatre vignobles de l'Okanagan a été très bien géré par Richard Da Silva et son équipe. Pour un millésime 2021, j'apprécie particulièrement son faible degré d'alcool et sa structure vive, notamment lors d'une période difficile en 2021. Nez de cassis, de mûre et de cerise noire, avec une pointe de violette, de réglisse rouge et de cèdre. Attendez-vous à une belle complexité pour ce vin qui plaira à tous. La bouche exprime fraîcheur, vivacité et une belle structure tannique, tandis que les saveurs s'expriment sur les fruits noirs, avec une pointe de myrtille, avec une pointe de café expresso juste après le milieu de bouche, avant de se terminer sur de séduisantes notes épicées de chêne et de poivre blanc.

The Story & People Behind Da Silva

It started in 1955, with a suitcase and a dream.

The Da Silva family had just arrived from Portugal, settling on the Naramata Bench long before it became one of Canada’s most iconic wine regions. By 1959, they’d bought their first farm—and they’ve been shaping the land ever since.

Today, that legacy lives on through Richard and Twylla Da Silva. Richard is a vigneron with deep roots and deeper respect for the Okanagan’s soil. He doesn’t just make wine. He listens to the land. And he lets it speak—through small-lot, low-intervention wines that reflect the soul of each vineyard.

How does this work?

Carl's Wine Club is Canada's first pan-Canadian, direct-to-consumer wine club.

Being a member of the wine club is FREE and you have access to our informative emails and our live virtual events with Carl to learn more about Canadian wineries.

We feature a different Canadian winery every 1-2 weeks with a specially curated mix of wines. You choose if and how much wine to purchase, with winery direct pricing and shipping deals.

Is the order page secure?

Yes, absolutely! We use a secure website and order page, with all credit card information processed by a PCI-compliant payment processor and bank-grade SSL encryption of your data.

What size bottles will I receive?

All bottles are 750ml (standard wine bottles) unless otherwise noted. There may be a different size bottle for instance for Magnums at 1.5L or smaller bottles for Ice Wines.

How does shipping work?

Shipping of wines is done from the featured winery directly, unless you're ordering a 'Mystery Pack' or other limited edition pack. Shipping is available to Canadian locations only. Shipping is usually completed by Courier, however Canada Post is used for rural or remote locations. You will receive a tracking number from the winery or courier system. Someone over the legal drinking age must be present at the time of delivery and provide ID to the delivery driver (this is a legal requirement). Please do your best to ensure that an adult is available to receive the order on the anticipated delivery date.
