This extremely rare traditional method sparkling wine was made with zero dosage, allowing the winemaker to showcase a pure expression of the spectacular CanyonView Vineyard on the Summerland Bench. 100% Chardonnay, filled with energy and tension, with a creamy texture. On the nose, citrus, Meyer lemon, white flowers, slight toastiness and a touch of tropical fruits. On the palate, a blend of citrus fruits, a touch of grilled pineapple, a hint of white spice, and a long, lasting, mineral finish. You'll very likely find a very particular stoney minerality across all wines coming from CanyonView Vineyard - a strong indicator that you're tasting terroir.
