2022 Evolve Syrah Rosé | 90+pts

I’m very impressed with this wine. First of all, it’s $19.99 at the winery (plus tax). Secondly, the wine over-delivers that price point by a LOT. This rose is made using the “saignée” method with a light and friendly profile with a great weight on the mid-palate. Fantastic salmon colour, and very refreshing on the palate - a perfect Summer star! On the nose, red cherry, raspberry, watermelon and light fresh herbs which express themselves in a refreshing way. The palate is crisp and well balanced with ripe field berries, watermelon, strawberry rhubarb pie, a pleasant hint of grapefruit acidity and a hint of white pepper on the finish.
