The 2017 Bella Terra Cabernet Sauvignon is a clear deep garnet colour. On the nose you are greeted with clean fruit character, including notes of cherries, red currant, and pomegranate. This is followed by notes of black pepper, baking spices like star anise, cloves, and cardamom, ending off with a lovely cedar finish. This is a dry wine, with smooth tannins and a balanced acidity. The palate is layered with flavours of compote fruit, like currants, cherries, and strawberries, in addition to a delightful fresh note of eucalyptus. This Cabernet Sauvignon ends off with a long and velvety taste. (Winery notes)
