This unfined, unfiltered single vineyard Pinot Noir is absolutely reaching its maximum potential at the moment and will do so for another 12 to 18 months. Soft and creamy, the texture is silky, and the tannins have reached their soft-spot of elegance. The nose offers aromas of red berries like stewed strawberry and red cherry, earthy undertones of forest floor, vanilla and flowers like violets and rose petals. The palate is compelling and complex, describing the south Okanagan terroir with higher alcohol at 13.5% richer mouthfeel and a spicier finish. The flavours center around blue plum, red and black currant, black licorice and loads of baking spices. The finish is long, and a burst of acidity explodes at the end to keep the experience pulsing.
