To use Mira’s words:  oh WOW, this is probably the only rose I tasted that reminds me so much of “Tractor & Vines.” When she mentions T&V, she means our very top rated rose of the last 3 years…and I tend to agree with her. I had an absolute blast tasting this wine. Wonderful balance between crisp acidity, soft texture (probably from lees aging) and stunning flavour definition. On the nose, sublime aromas of orange blossom, peach, crabapple, fresh strawberry, and a slight wet stone undertone. The palate is full and fresh, exuberant in the right way. Flavours of strawberry rhubarb pie, cream soda, peach, grapefruits and a hint of white pepper on the finish add to a surprising complexity. This wine could be an absolute Rockstar at the dinner table for the Holidays, where wine geeks and beginners alike can greatly enjoy this fantastic and versatile rose of Gamay.
