For the very first time, Tawse is using 100% estate organic fruit for their rosé. This 2023 blend—50% Syrah, 35% Cab Franc, and 15% Pinot Noir—is an absolute crowd-pleaser and patio ponder. Not the most complex, but wonderfully soft and approachable. The nose is full of sweet cherry, rhubarb, dried flowers, and candied strawberry, while the palate displays fresh-picked strawberry, peach, Swedish berry, and ambrosia apple. A light spark of pink grapefruit lifts the finish. Sometimes a good wine doesn’t need to be overdone—it just needs to be good. And this version of Tawse rosé is exactly that.
